This is a quote that I live by during hard times and that keeps me going on. And have absolutely no idea why. I think this is what happened to me over the past few weeks. A lot of things happened, mostly good things, as a mentioned in a previous post as well: starting my internship — that went really well -, travelling to London and meeting one of my favourite bands, getting offered a job but due to circumstances not being able to take it , finding another Summer job, ending that same internship… There was a lot going in the time span of only a few weeks and I think that it all became a little too much to handle for my mind and my body.

The moment I started to take a step back and stopped worrying about what people would think about it, I started feeling slightly better. Taking a serious step back over the past month made me realise what my blog really means to me.

Taking a step back has given me to opportunity to take two steps forward from this moment on. Always put yourself first.
